Your Questions, Answered
-
A Brand Session is a larger commission designed to build a complete image library - portraits, environmental imagery, lifestyle, and working images - across multiple looks and contexts.
The result is a body of photography that can support your brand and communications over an extended period rather than a single need.
An Executive Portrait Session is built around creating a definitive single image or small set of portraits.
-
Both. A Brand Session can combine the studio with one or more carefully selected locations. The locations are chosen based on what needs to be communicated and the environments that are relevant to your work and public profile.
For some engagements, this might mean the studio combined with your office, workplace, or another location that has relevance to the brand.
-
The session begins with a brand strategy & planning consultation. We establish how and where the images will be used, the target audiences, the platforms and publications they need to support, and the aspects of your professional identity that need to be represented. That determines the locations, wardrobe, looks, situations, and image requirements for the shoot.
-
The project is built around variation with a consistent visual point of view. Multiple looks, locations, compositions, and situations create range, while the photographic approach keeps the collection cohesive. The objective is visual assets with variety and consistency so your brand avoids visual fragmentation.
-
Yes. I photograph the entire commission myself and personally oversee the final imagery. The finished collection includes fully hand-retouched images for your primary uses, with the level of finishing appropriate to the application. The retouching is deliberate and natural - maintaining the character of the subject rather than creating an artificially perfected version.
-
My studio manages the production from initial planning through delivery, working directly with the executive, their Executive Assistant, Corporate Communications, Marketing, agency, or other designated contact. A Brand Session is typically structured around a full day, with the schedule built in advance around locations, wardrobe changes, and required imagery.
The resulting library is delivered in multiple formats with a usage guide. A 30-day follow-up is included to identify gaps or additional imagery that may be needed, and ongoing or annual photography can be structured through a retainer.
